Bound by Bayntun in early twentieth-century three-quarter brown morocco, ruled in gilt, over marbled boards. Spine lettered in gilt with five raised bands. Marbled endpapers. A fine copy.

An elegantly printed version of Bunyan's celebrated allegorical tale of Christian the pilgrim on his journey to the Celestial City. Along the way, Christian encounters both worthy companions and dreadful adversaries.
