The Winchester Edition of The Novels of Jane Austen was first published by Grant Richards in 1898. It was reissued by John Grant of Edinburgh in 1905-1906 with new title-pages. Both of these editions contained the novels only. The 1911-1912 reissue, also by John Grant, included two additional volumes containing the minor novels (Lady Susan and The Watsons) and Letters of Jane Austen—the whole set bound in blue cloth rather than the green of earlier editions.
