I. Half-titles. B3, vol. I, lightly soiled at foot (printer’s ink?), a fine set.
Rare first edition, in exceptional condition from the Hanoverian royal library at Marienberg, by the Yorkshire-born author of Thoughts on education (1806, new ed. 1819). She published three further novels: System and no system, or, The contrast (1815), Imitation (1817) and The carriage (1819).
