Thick folio (12 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches; 323 x 248 mm.). 835, [1, blank], [1, colophon], [3, blank] pp. With forty etchings (of which twenty are in color) by Robert Motherwell on twenty folded leaves. Printed in Perpetua type on French mouldmade Johannot paper. The intaglio printing was done by R.E. Townsend in black and nineteen colors on heavier-weight Johannot paper.
Original half white alum-tawed pigskin (on the spine and fore-edges) over boards covered in blue cloth with white flecks. With the original prospectus laid in. A fine copy, without any discoloration to the white pigskin and as clean as can be. In the original slipcase covered with the same fabric and with a paper label on the spine.
