Bound by Bayntun (stamp-signed on front turn-in) ca. 1925 in full purple morocco over beveled boards. Covers ruled in gilt, spine with five raised bands, paneled and lettered in gilt, decorative gilt board edges, decorative gilt turn-ins, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Spine slightly faded otherwise near fine.
"It is to enlarge this sphere of rational pleasure in the contemplation of works of art that the following memoirs were written" (Introduction).
