[2, limitation leaf], xii, 304 pp. Thirteen mounted color plates, including frontispiece (with tissue guard) and the additional plate not present in the trade edition. Two full-page illustrations in black and white, twenty chapter headings, and fourteen tail-pieces.
Publisher's cream buckram decoratively stamped and lettered in gilt on front cover and spine. Original rose-colored silk ties. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Vellum-style gold pictorial endpapers. Spine darkened, a few small marks on covers, still an excellent copy. Housed in a fleece-lined, dark blue cloth slipcase.
Tipped-in before the half-title is a printed note regarding the additional plate "Puck" which only appears in this signed limited edition.
