“Intended as a mild satire on Lord Brougham and his educational schemes. The letter-press is Seymour’s as well as the drawings” (Seymour’s Sketches (London: 1867), p. 6).
Not in Abbey, Martin Hardie, Ray, or Tooley. We have been able to locate only four other copies- two in libraries and institutions (Harvard University Library and the Library of Congress) and two in private collections.
