Small octavo (6 1/2 x 4 1/8 inches; 165 x 105 mm.). [iv], 243, [1, blank] pp. Two hand colored etched plates (facing pages 8 and 176). Full red morocco by R. R. Donnelly & Sons Co., Chicago, with their ticket bound in after the front endpaper. Covers with large gilt designs, spine with five raised bands, lettered in gilt in compartments, gilt board edges and turn-ins, top edge gilt. Rebacked with original spine laid down.
The two plates were colored at a later date.
The novel appeared in Roscoe's Novelist's Library, of which it forms the second part of volume X.
