The Hampstead Edition is often regarded as the finest collected edition of Keats's works. it is renowned for its comprehensive compilation of Keats's literary contributions. Edited by H. Buxton Forman, with revisions and additions by Maurice Buxton Forman, it features an introduction by poet laureate John Masefield. The edition's name pays homage to Keats's residence in Hampstead, London, from December 1818 to August 1820. During this period, he composed several of his most celebrated poems, including "Ode to a Nightingale" and "La Belle Dame sans Merci". The house, originally called Wentworth Place, is now preserved as Keats House, a museum dedicated to his life and work.
